Spirit Groups Reflect Griffin Pride eniority Sorority, led by Wendy Poe and Alison King and advised by Coach Van Gorder, consisted of twenty-six senior girls. They represented the school spirit of Los Al and planned to make their senior year the very best it could be. This goal was attained by the attendance of football games, basketball games, and ,wrestling matches. The girls supported the teams and cheered them on to victory. The Tent Club, founded in October of 1985, was composed of seven band members. The club promoted fun and enter- tainment at all band and school functions. They dressed in Blues Brothers garb consisting of black coats and ties, white shirts and socks, Converse high tops, and RayBans - not to mention that they were also devoted worshippers of Steve Martin. Together with advisor, Chuck Wackerman, they took the campus by storm. Jared Johnson, a member of the Tent Club, entertains the crowd at a football game. Tent Club: Kirk Saylin a.k.a.
