DARE TO BE DIFFERENT Los Al's campus has always and will always be filled with many different kinds of people. Each of us has our own style and taste in clothing, music, hairstyles, and even weekend activities. Neither one or the other is wrong. These differences often act as barriers between us which results in a division into Hcliquesf' The different styles here at Los Al are what make us a unique and different place. DARE TO BE DIFFERENT' Whether your hair is blue or parted perfectly in the middle, whether you're a preppie or a punker, that is your choice. You have the right to be 'idifferentn maybe ever. one-of-a-kind. Don't forget though, that you will only be here for four years and in that short time you owe it to yourself to experience, or just get to know one of these unique peo- ple. Each one of us is special and possesses an extraordinary talent. Let the world know who you are and Dare To Be Different!!! 4. Along with different styles and personalities, comes a wide variety of after school activities. Matt Donnelly practices his favorite pastime, playing the guitar. A time many students look forward to is lunch. Not only to eat, but to mingle and share stories. Jill Wendell plans her upcoming weekend activities.

The Gar1g's All Here his was the third year C.I.A. has been in opera- tion here at Los Alamitos, the C.I.A. still remained a highly secretive organization. The club members are identified on campus by their trench coats, dark sunglasses and briefcases. As implied by their name, the C.I.A.'s activities are somewhat mysterious, but they are known to be fans of James Bond. C.I.A. also helped pro- mote school spirit at football games and other activities here at Los Al. C.I.A. members hope that future C.l.A. members will carry on the tradition of club C.l.A. From the deepest swamps of the Louisiana Bayou to the shores of Seal Beach, the art of true Cajun cuisine has spread. Baton Rouge attemped to bring a common knowledge of the jambalaya of southern recipes to the western shores. This was the first year that Baton Rouge Cooking has formed as one. For future cooking members, Baton Rouge hopes to carry on to produce top quality cookers. The purpose of the club was to ex- periment with new an unusual Cajun cooking recipes to test cast-iron stomachs. The club won a spirit stick at a home football game, and off campus, the club critiques various local Cajun restaurants. Cajun Cooking member, Julie Coonte indulges in a piece of pizza. Sabrina Garoena is an active member of Baton Rouge Cook- ing Club here at Los Al.
