ln 2007, I 'll still be living in Los Alamitos coaching a foot- ball team. JASON GARRIDO, FRESHMAN 14 Opening wfigljimg YEARBOOK '87 OOKI G sr- S if ' 'Q X , M - 4 N rr it 1-- HOTTER THAN EVER The 1987 Cottonwood theme was appropriately titled' Twenty Years Under the Sun because of the two decades of memories this book has created. Throughout the existance of the Cottonwood, Los Al students have shared laughter and joy that has found its way from the minds of staff to the pages of the yearbook. Twenty Years Under the Sun . . . The word Sun in this phrase has several meanings, one of which is obvious. Here in Southern California it is a rare occa- sion when the sun does not shine. When this happens, the faculty and students are here to carry out this thought. Bright minds, sunny personalities and peo- ple who were just purely full of energy, like the sun, helped make this birthday celebration a huge success.
