22 Activities Sailors Unite During Spirit Week lt was a fun-filled week in November with lunch time activities ronging from a teacher Toilet paper wrap to car pushing, all building up to the final Homecoming Game Thursday evening. During the traditional Spirit Week, classes, clubs, and organizations showed their real school spirit at lunchtime and each doy there was o different activity. Competitions included the traditional Pie-Eating contest and our spirited Red, Blue, and Gold Doy, First time events included the Powder Puff Football Game, the Mr Whippel T.P. Wrap and the Car Decorating Contest. Each day was a different dress up day ranging from Pajama Doy to Beach Day to Twins Day, As Mr. Anthony commented, lt was one of the most spirited campuses l'ye seen in years. The week culminated in the crowning of the Homecoming Queen Lisa Harris and Mr. irresistable Russ Wendell. Homecoming ended with a victory defeat of the Loora High School Saxons with a winning game score of 14 to Q. The week of fun ended Friday night with the romantic Homecoming Dance themed Puttin On The Ritz. The planning of the week took great time effort from the Senior Class under the direction of the class advisor, Mrs. Dusenkell, I.. i Laura Abbote gazes at the Football Followers Buick The club entered their car in the decorating contest and came away with the spirit award for their efforts.
