I I l I Cambridge Bay Exchange During April, ten lucky Barrhead students were involved in an Exchange with ten Innuit students from Cambridge Bay, N.W.T..While visiting Barrhead the Northern students went to Jasper and Edmonton as well as the town's local farms and businesses.Whi1e in the North, our students slept in igloos, saw caribou and muslerx, went ice fishing and visited an airport, weather station and a Innuit t.v. station. But the highlight of the trip was just experiencing a different culture and lifestyle. The students who were involved were Elaine Laarz, Michelle Robinson, Charmaine Sudom, Rachel Benoit, Arlee Sheets, Tim Fluet, Tom Krawiec, David Reschke, Chawn Bozak and Greg Lehmann. Mr. Shipton Quebec Exchange From Febuary to May of this year, Diana Laarz and myself took part in the Alberta-Quebec Exchange Program. We lived in Quebec for three months We learned many things while were in Quebec. 'our fluency in the French language increased, and we learned about different social and cultural differences.
