Mike James ployed his sixth ond final gome for rhe Mustangs. In his true gurry fash- ion he received a pass from Flippo and covered some 45 yards. A sec- ond effort plunge brought rhe de- fense in on him, ond o broken collar- bone followed. Knowing their boll club wos more talented than they were displaying, it was o depressing gome for rhe coaching staff. Maybe it was rhe week before that drained their emotions — who knows — bur oil were glod when it wos over. DGA lost their next 3 bollgomes proving they were nor o dominating ream. The 35-7 loss left rhe Mustangs 3-3. It's that rime of rhe year, Home- coming. The Mustangs' opponent wos West Limestone, Alabama, characteristic of Alabama football.
