Chief Editor As Editor of the 1970 Mustang, I’ve had some trying times, but I've enjoyed every minute of it. I wish to especially thank Miss Jordan, and Mr. Turpin for their help. I want to thank the faculty, the staff and the student body, for without them there would be no yearbook. As a senior I realize how important it is to have a yearbook, and I hope it will help you keep many happy memories alive in your heart.

foreword Man has finally collected enough power to destroy himself. What about war? Well, we have to defend ourselves, don’t we? In the years to come, these problems will have to be answered by us. The future is ours. As time moves on, this book will hold the memories of the years that played an important role in our lives. If we help each other, we might not skid any deeper in this ugly jumble of violence and racism. The signs of the times have influenced us, and now it is our job to work it out.
