H. S. To the Students: ■ It is with pleasure that I represent the Lawrence County Board of Education in this fine yearbook which is sponsored by the Senior Class. Loretto High is symbolic of all that is good in our school system, with its fine traditions, its spirit of friendliness and co-operation, and its high degree of efficiency in meeting the educa- tional needs of its wonderful student body. To have been associated with this senior class is one of the bright spots of my life. May I personally congratu- late each of you on the attainment of your goal and wish you success in whatever ambitions you may hold for your future life. On behalf of the County Board I wish to commend you for taking advantage of the facilities and opportunities that have been afforded you for your education and growth. It is the Board's wish that all the children of our county can be educated. Only in this way can we gain the informed and in- telligent citizens for our democratic way of life. Sincerely, Charles W.
