Grace and 1 decided to go shopping the very next day. We went into a newly completed Style Center of Florida. We were admiring a new Paris fashion on a tall slim model. When she turned around, our eyes almost popped out, for the model was none other than one of our old classmates, Hannah Perry. Hannah has been modeling since she got out of school, and she really has quite a business now. She is in great demand. And no wonder, what a model! After talking to Hannah we found out that she had heard from Mary Ann who ls now switch board operator in Florida. So after tell- ing Hannah our plans to get together we decided to go see Mary Ann, as she was working in a nearby hotel. We started out to see her , and found Mary Ann as busy as a bee. She told me she had been work- ing in the hotel since schoql was out. We planned to go to Lordstown the next month, but the problem was we couldn't find Eileen. No one knew where she was. We got in touch with the other kids and planned to go to Lordstown. . The day finally came for us to leave for our trip. We had all planned to meet in Lordstown at 1:30 Saturday afternoon. That is all but Eileen, our missing senior. We got to Lordstown and were we sur- prised. Right across from the school there is a big hotel with a sign reading, nLouis Majick's Luxurious Hoteln. lt was none other than our dear superintendent whom we loved very much. We decided to go ln and what a surprise. We looked up to see Eileen coming toward us. Eileen is a switchboard operator in the Majick Hotel and likes her job very much. She ls now married, but she works as she has always wanted to be a switchboard operator. That evening we planned to eat together in the lovely dining room of the hotel. Dinner time came and we all went ln to slt down. When we got to our table we were really surprised for there sat our dear, sweet teachers. Mrs. Mlsconls made so much money she had to retire and take care of it. Mr. James ls now Dean of a large, college ln San Franslco and was off on a vacation. We all had a wonderful evening and later we went out to our old school. There is a movie theater next to the hotel, a shopping center, and even a stop light, in fact lots of them. And that ls what all the seniors of 1953 are doing now ln 1960. igpglalzecy W t S 1
