Qxllass History On September 5, 1951, thirty-four little boys and girls - some happy, some tense and still others in tears - entered Mrs. Hiestand's and Mrs. Gordy's first grade classes. This was the beginning of several friendships, tasks, and accomplishments. Our elementary education ended with Mr. Feehley and Mrs. Newton's preparing us for all the difficulties which we would face when we entered Junior High School. During the seventh and eighth grades Mrs. Betts and Mr. O'Donald were our home- room teachers. It took us several weeks to become accustomed to the new faces, big building, and the changing from class to class. In our Freshman year our two sections were combined. Mrs. Betts was one home- room teacher. Our class sponsored the Easter dance. How proud we were of our live rabbits which drew much attention! In our Sophomore year Mr. Gerald Adkins was our new sponsor. Our special feature was a big dinner. Along with having fun, we also cleared much profit. Our Junior year held in store for us many experiences that we shall long remember We gave our Prom in honor of the Seniors. We still cherish the memories of the Roman Holiday and the fun we had constructing it. Now it is our Senior year. We have now reached the end of twelve long years of learning. Now that we have had the guidance and direction of the teachers of Lord Baltimore, we must part and go our separate waysg but we shall never forget the many friends we have made through these most cherished years.
