Class Poem Our High School was like a stately boat, Our parents kindly helped us to embark Our teachers graciously kept us afloat With lessons and duties from daylight to dark. It was here we shared our joys and fears We learned to cope with French and English verbs, We, twenty-one, together through four golden years, Struggling with math and strange chemical words. But sadness comes over us as we recall The days we spent in Lord Baltimore in work and play As we purposed ever in our hearts, one and all To improve our minds and bodies in every way. In knowledge and culture we grew more and more, The lights gleamed brightly on us from the shore: Our achievements were like the currents swift, Our successes in sports and arts, the highest cliff. Seniors, here's to one and all the very best As we each one rounds the last long bend, May each succeed in life and in his chosen quest Before we say farewell at the end.
