A Message From Mr. Bunn i' When we consider the magnitude of this world wide conflict in which we are engaged, We feel so helpless. We are tempted to say: What can I do? I am only one person in a vast world of peo- ple. What part can I play in so great an enterprise? How can I alone find any way to help? And yet I want an end to this terrible struggle, an end to sorrow and suffering and pain. I want to have a world of peace and happiness. I know there are millions of other students who feel just as I feel-lost-alone. But I know that together we have the power to make the world free-free from greed and hatred and murder. P. C. BUNN the outcome of this War depended on me alone. I shall fight not only to defend my own country but to bring about a just and permanent peace for the world. That is the spirit of the boys and girls of Lorain High School. You have proved in many ways this year your loyalty and devotion to our American aims and ideals. You have not only preached but you have practiced our motto HSACRIFICE FOR VICTORY. That is the spirit that will win this War. I congratulate you on your many patriotic achievements. Fourteen
