Where once students giggled in the circular classroom, a sandy beach and solitary palm tree stood in the center of a flower-filled lake, beautifully spotlighted in the moonlight. Inside, palm trees and flowers abounded, while artfully- draped fishnets helped transform the familiar school into a stunning fantasy treat. It was a mirage no one wanted to disappear. If anyone failed to be moved by this romantic atmosphere, there was always the Prom Till Dawn, where the competitive spirit stood out, and there was always something happening. The Games People Play included Ping Pong, Ring Toss, and Pinball. If even that wasn't enough, silent movies and old cartoons were shown on the upper deck. For those who wanted to dance, there was even the music of Cot- tonmouth, with our own Jim Chrulski on drums. lOpposite page, top? Cindy Castro and Joyce Maderia dine with their dates.
