Basketball Players Escort Stefan Hohns escorts Sherri Groves. Candidates Renee Wagler on the arm of Brant Ackerman High school students as well as alumni attended the Homecoming activities held on Friday. December 18. The festivities were more pleasant since the Loogootee Lions were victorious over the South Knox Spartans. The five senior basketball players escorted the Homecoming Queen candidates onto the basketball court between the junior varsity and varsity games. Eric Bradley, student council vice- president, crowned Renee Wagler the 1987-88 Homecoming Queen. Following the crowning ceremony, Renee threw the game ball to Scott Arthur who in turn made the traditional first basket. A dance sponsored by student council was held at the Elementary East Gym. Danny Wayne from WRTB was the disc jockey. Danny dedicated “Lady In Red” to Queen Renee. Julie Anderson and Scott Sellers enjoy the spotlight. Scott Callison cautiously escorts Mindy Matheis. Times to Remember Testing acids on jean material was Tricia Williams’s experiment in chemistry II for the science fair. This class was found in need of Therapy, a game which asked the students psychological questions about themselves and each other.
