The Legacy Continues Every student that has passed through the doors of Loogootee High School has helped to constitute the legacy of LHS. The past has given LHS a legacy to be proud of. Over the years our school has acquired an impressive reputation in athletic abilities as well as in academic abilities. Each year students are challenged to meet these past accomplishments and perhaps surpass them. Although time brings new styles, ac- complishments, and changes to our school, these past traditions still play important parts in many areas of our school. Each year brings forth new students to carry on the traditions of the past and to bring on the changes of the future. Within the pages of this book are the contributions made to our school's legacy during the 1986-1987 school year. Everyone who has helped to make this year a success, has also helped to make this yearbook a success. Does something seem a little foreign?
