SUPERINTENDENT Dr. Tracy Dust, Superintendent of Loogootee High School System, graduated from Jackson Township High School He recieved his B. S., and M. S., and Ph. D. from Indiana State Univ. Dr. Dust joined the Loogootee School four years ago in 1972, and since then has continued to gain respect from LHS students rod faculty At the close of each school year we normally find our- selves deeply involved with matters that concern Seniors. Annuals, graduation exercises, and family parties are all designed to pay tribute to individual and collective ac- complishments. Unfortunately, most of us tend to forget parents and the emotions that they do feel on behalf of their children. The author of the following quotation is unknown to me. I believe the quotation does supply the words that most parents are unable to say during moments such as this one. People so seldom say I love you, and then its either too late, or love goes. So when I tell you I love you, it doesn't mean you'll never go, only that I wish you didn't have to. pivUwxxAl Thank you for the relationship we have had. pleasure. Tracy Dust It's been a Lester J. Page, Principal of Loogootee High, graduated from Bicknell High School. He attended Indiana State Univ. where he received his B. S., and M. S. degrees. In 1952, Mr. Page joined the Loogootee teaching staff and nine years later was made LHS Principal. During this time he has earned the respect and admiration of all. It may be hard to find the right thing to say at the right time, but even more difficult to leave unsaid the wrong things at a tempting moment. ASSISTANT PRINCIPAL Mr. Ira Clark, Guidance Counselor and Assistant Principal at Loogootee High School, graduated from Montgomery High School. He attended Vincennes University and Oakland City College where he recieved a B. S. degree, and Indiana Univ. where he recieved a M. S. degree. He began teaching in the Loogootee School System in 1962. In 1968 he became Guidance Counselor, and in 1973 he also became Assistant Principal. Mr. Clark has been very helpful to the students during his years at LHS. Patriotism is your conviction that this country is super- ior to all other countries because you were bora in it.
