Senior ei CIA ropkecy This morning while loafing around my gypsy wagon, I think I'll look into my solid, plastic crystal hall to find out what my old classmates are doing. My first vision is Washington, D. C. in all of its inauguration gaiety. I can see all of the people talking about how great a job the planning committee has done. Who do you think planned it? Peggy Taylor and Sandra Carr. The crowd is silent now and Chief Justice, Melvin Harder, steps up to administer the oath to the new President.Tom Haste!! I It seems several of our old classmates are bopping around Washington, D. C. Abbie Arvin is head of the Peace Corps. With each passing day the nation draws nearer and nearer to war. In the House of Representa- tives it seems Janice Poling is really running the show. Representative Poling’s counterpart in the Senate is none other than her old buddy, Margie Souerdyke. Margie hold the filibuster record for the Senate. My crystal ball is now showing miles and miles of ocean. Land! Ho! In France Li Li Alcover is teaching L.H.S. English to the French. She says they are finding it difficult to master the terms, but think it is a real swingin’ lingo. On the dark continent we find Beverly Gregory and Phyllis Stallings; they are missionaries trying to convert the natives to their way of life. Maybe they were better off as cannibals. In Pakistan is one of the most up-to-date garages in the world. Miller's Garage, operated by none other than Carole Mauder. Her chief grease monkey is Kenny Seals. I see the Stars and Stripes flying over the good ole’ U.S.A. and now it is stopping in Holly- wood. Several of the Class of 1965 are here. Every time you turn on the radio, you can hear today's most swingin' group led by Dale Baker. They go under the name of Butadene Baker and his Five Isomers. Jim Chandler recently got an Academy Award for his performance in Sleeping Beauty. He played the Princess. Gary Cole M. C. 's a show called Slitn Time. Mike Craig finally got his life's dream when he made the Superman show, as Superman’s girl friend, Lois Lane. Phil Goodpaster is the class's only millionaire. He made his bank roll by creating the ani- mated cartoon Winnie the Pooh. Last month Mike Harbison was so bitter about being refused for pro basketball, he took an overdose of sleeping pills (or so he thought). They turned out to be vitamins and Mike now has his own team known as the Harby Globetrotters. Veda Jeffers is also in Hollywood. She owns the Beauty Shop to which all the stars go; Veda specializes in hair coloring. Donna Parsons is working in the Denver Mint. It seems to be a big secret as to which de- partment. My crystal ball found Larry Hotz in New York where he is making government workbooks off his old copy. Terry McKibben tried the Marine Corps for a while but got out quickly. He is now singing the lead in the opera Firefly. Barry Stuckey is now national director of the National Honor Society. Don Neukam owns his own factory and now is doing quite well making sponges; they're great for soaking” things up. Mike Bohlinger and Steve Page are st ill spending their noon hour in study hall waiting for the final e’cue. Besides sitting in study hall, Mike owns the Big Boy chain and still regrets the day they took the SAT test. Steve has a key factory specializing in Conference Room and Cafe- teria keys. 24
