SENIOR CLASS HISTORY The Class of 1964 started the freshman year with seventy students. During our first year we sponsored a sock hop and bake sale. Under the supervision of Mr. Alvin Holland, our sponsor, we held a class party. The class officers were as follows: President ......................... Larry Deaton Vice-President ....................Dave Strickland Boys' Secretary-Treasurer..........Steve Riggins Girls' Secretary-Treasurer............Susan Drew At the start of our sophomore year, there were sixty-five members returning. We opened the school season with a sock hop and later held a Christmas tape sale. The class officers were: President ...... Vice-President . Secretary ...... Girls' Treasurer Boys' Treasurer . . . . Susan Drew . . . . Mike Woods Penny Mattingly . . . Ann Hedrick . . Steve Riggins We entered our junior year with sixty-two members. Our class sponsored a movie and a sock hop. Roger Parsons Our class began our senior year with fifty-one members. We sponsored two sock hops and had a bake sale. We also sold candy, light bulbs, and Christmas cards.
