From there we headed for Paris. We knew our trip wouldn't be complete if we didn't get an original evening gown either from LaMar's Dressmaking Salon owned by Gary LaMar or from Arvin's Fashion House operated by Ruth Arvin. We left Paris and sailed across the English Channel to London, England. Here we read in the local paper that Larry Anderson was the new Prime Minister of England. We left England the next day and flew (by airplane, of course) to New York. Our pilot and stewardess for the trip were Virgil Harper and Terry Able. We chatted with them for a little while after we landed. They told us that our new ambassadress to Russia, Ruth Ann Braun, had cemented our relations with that country. (Could it be because she gave Krush some tickets to Disneyland?) Now we had located all of our classmates except just a few. We decided to start looking for the rest in Loogootee. We figured if anyone could help us it would be the editor of the local newspaper. We walked into the editor's office and to our pleasant surprise we found the editor to be Mary Frances Goins. She told us that Jim Jones had taken over his father's job at the local theater which was now owned by Karen Hembree and Kay Neukam who are both married now. She said that Margaret O'Brien now owned a string of hotels and that she was married and lived in Florida. Mary also told us where in town we could find another of our classmates. She said Judy Nigg now owned the place on the corner where she used to work. We stopped in to see Judy and found that she is still single. She can't seem to make up her mind to settle down. She told us that Diane Conolty was married and lived in Pennsylvania. She also told us that Kenny Ellis and Charlene Braun were married and lived on a farm which Kenny owned. Charlene teaches in the local school. (I see she got her M. A., B. A., and Mrs. Degrees.) As we were about to leave town, we happened past the poolroom. We looked in and whom should we see but our dear sponsor, Mrs. Williams. She told us that the doctor had advised her to take up pool as a form of relaxation.
