Saniol (?lal5 4jiitotij We entered Loogootee Public High School in 1952, as freshmen. We enjoyed several parties during the year with Mr. Holland, our class sponsor. The class officers were: President: Sonny Nossett Vice-President: Billy Street Boys' Sec.: Jim Fox Girls' Sec.: Rachel Hedrick In 1953, forty-one of us came back as sophomores. We enjoyed a picnic and o skating party with Mrs. Dooley and Mr. Arvin, our class sponsors. The class officers were: President: Lorry Thompson Vice-President: Joe Wittmer Boys' Sec.: Jim Fox Girls' Sec.: Rochelle Stallings In 1954, thirty-three of us returned as juniors. This year we enjoyed a Junior-Senior Prom and a picnic at Spring Mill. We also were very proud to receive our class rings. Our sponsors were Miss Crooke and Mr. Young. The class officers were: President: Sonny Nossett Vice-President: Lorry Garrett Secretary: Shirley Mattingly Reporter: Carolyn Sutton In 1955, thirty-four of us entered as seniors. We published a monthly paper and a yearbook with Mr. Jones as our sponsor. We enjoyed with Mr. Jones a trip to Washington D.C., a banquet and prom. Most of all we want to remember our Baccalaureate and Commencement, We have four basketball players graduating; they are: Sonny Nossett, Dick Gillick, Larry Garrett, and Joe Wittmer.
