B Is for Brewster, a real friend and pal, Seems Nancy Is still his gal. B Is for Brown, short and sweet, Hinzle thinks she can't be beat. B Is for Bruner, who Is going tc marry, Will it be Tom, Clarence, or will it be Gary. C Is for Clark, Margie's our gal, She and Pat are really pals. E Is for Earps, a cute little girl. When she sees Ronnie, she's In a whirl. P 18 for Parley, who drives a Pontiac, He'8 in love or else Its a good act. P is for Pollers, our big he-man, He18 going steady, lets give him a hand. P is for Prye, who'a got a flame, Wonder if Pete Is hie name. P Is for Pox, who wants real facts, And the love of a guy name Max. 0 is for Gibson. Just look at that hair. When he sees Crouse, he's no longer there. H is for Hembree, who Isn't very tall, When Wanda's around. He's on tho ball. H too is for Holt, with a funny walk, Wonder If Catherine likes to hear him talk. J is for Jones (John) , the sleepy head. Why doesn't someone put him to bed. J also for Jones (Norma), who is so funny. What will she do wlth-out her Ernie. M is for Mattingly, Secretary of our class, Seems that Don S. thinks she's quite a lass. M Is for Medina, a shy one, But not really, cause she is fun. M also for Melton, who thinks school is for fun. Bless his old heart, he isn't so dumb. H here at last is Milligan, who doesn't do any harm. Wonder If her and Marvin will live on the farm. N is for Noel, who is never lazy, Wonder why he isn't girl crazy. N is for Norris, the class artist. Of all the class she Is the smartest. P Is for Pate, who's graduating at last. She looks In the future and not in the past.

CLASS PROPHECY I had the strangest dream last night! And what was It about but the old class of '54 '. It was 10 years In the future and I was at a party which was being held In honor of our former sponsor, Mr. Henry Jones. Stopping at the punch bowl, I noticed my good friend, Peg Mattingly, now wife of a very prom- inent veterinarian, Don Spaulding. W© began walking around the room, talking to our old friends and found that many surprising things had happened. The law firm, Truelove, Wilcoxen, and Noel, which handles only the business of the large Industries, consists of none other than our former classmates. Mrs. Jim Dowden (Barbara Wikle) told us that the French Lick Springs Hotel Is now under the combined management of Pat Earps, Eleanor Bruner, Nancy Plum- mer, and James Walton. All of the girls have married very wealthy business- men. Ballard Melton Joined our group, telling us that Virginia Mllllran, Harrlette Spears, and Marllou Walton are registered nurses and each Is wear- ing a beautiful diamond. He also told us that he and Eddie Trego were fly- ing to New York Immediately after the party, both of them being very anxious to get back to their paper, the New York Times. From across the room Norma Jones a.-.d Pearl Walton spotted us and hurried to us Just bursting with news. Since I last saw them, they had both man led and each had four child- ren! Pearl tells me that Robert Walton has taken over the raanefement of the Farm 3ureau after his father’s retirement. More news was that Harold Hem- bree and Wanda Frye have finally married. They were going steady back at L. H. S. Our conversation turned to sports and I found that Norman Atchison Is coaching at a state university and having a very successful season, too. In the same college, Donna Norris, with an M. A. and an Mrs., heads the Eng- lish Department. Promising to visit each of the old gang soon, I left the party to keep a very Important engagement, I must have been In too much of a hurry, for suddenly a siren screamed behind me and a strangely familiar voice gruffly said, Where’s the firs? I couldn't believe my eyes! There sat Ted Holt in a policeman's uniform on a motorcycle. W© talked for quite a while re- living the old days , but before I left he wrote out a speeding ticket! Imagine my surprise when I went to pay the fine'. The room was fill- ed with more former classmates, all waiting to pay a similar fine. Teddy must have had quite a busy day! Donna Blair was very put out about being delayed. She Is the pri- vate secretary to the president of Pan American Airlines, Woodle Gibson. Pat Pate and Betty Strawn both proudly showed me their engagement rings. They are working together on an Interior decorating Job In the home of Mrs. Hlnzle Ziegler (Norma Brown). Ray Brewster, owner of Chevrolet Motors, told the Judge that he was Just trying out a new Chevrolet, but he still had to pay. Before Ralph Wilson left the court room, he asked me to visit him and his wife, Ruth, to see their darling little con, Ralph Jr. Ralph al30 said that he and his business partner, Delbert Fellers, had Just recently return- ed from a fashion show In California. They design the very latest In bath- ing suits. He promised to have one created especially for me In their new- est material, plastic. I can hardly wait! My turn to pay my fine was next so I stepped up to the desk. The Judge was, of all people, James Parley. He said that he and John Jones had gone through law school together and John, still a bachelor, was practicing In the East. Just as suddenly as I had appeared at the Party I was next on a plane flying for South America. The hostess came down the aisle asking us to fasten our safety belts for the landing. As I was having trouble with mine, I asked for her assistance. Then I recognized her as Margie Clark. When we landed we hurried to a coffee shop both of us talking at the same time. Sally Medina, she told me, was living In Utah, her husband being a wealthy dude ranch owner. Naomi Williams, also married. Shlrlle Fox Is an airline hostess for another airline. Then the bubble burst and my dream was ended. Today, Just before I began telling you of my adventures in dreams, I received an Invitation In the morning mail to a party. W also for Walton, Mary Lou this time, Guess her and Tommie are doing fine. W for W8lton (Pearl), who has a sweet face, Seems she likes a guy from Crane Base. W for Walton (Robert), our class President, We all like him, but he won't take a hint. W is for Wikle, a nice dame, Wonder If she will remain Jim's flame. W is for Wilcoxen, a mean little cuss, All he wants to do Is pick a fuss. W now 1s for Williams, who drives fast, Bet Will's Mercury doesn't use much gas. W means Wilson who goes with a girl, And boy when she's around, he's all In a whirl. Y is for Young, last In line, Seems she thinks a certain boy is Just fine.
