 JUNIOR CLASS HISTORY We entered Loogootee High School in the fall of September, 19 9 as Freshmen, with Ul students. Our class sponsor was Mr. Holland. We enjoyed several parties and a trip to Spring Mill State Park at the end of the year. Our class officers were: President--------------------------Carroll Ledgerwood Vice President---------------------Donald Vickers Secretary--------------------------Nancy Arnold Treasurer--------------------------Herman Tedrow We started our sophomore ear with 32 students. During the year we lost 5 students. At the end of the year we traveled to Spring Mill Park to spend a rainy day, but we had a very good time. Our class officers were: President-------- Vice President-- Secretary------- Girl's Treasurer Boy's Treasurer- ■Nancy Arnold ■Herman Tedrow ■Mary K. Haywood ■Priscilla Fish ■Don Spaulding In the fall of 1951 we entered I. H. S. as juniors. We have 28 students in our class. We are all looking forward to the Junior-Senior Banquet and Prom. We have been busy selling cokes and candy at the gallgames and at school. We received our class rings in November and are very proud of them. We wish to thank Miss Crooke and Mr. Young for helping us with the candy and cokes and getting ready for the prom. What Sophomore girl Ned Morrlsette Is Interested In? Could It be Shlrlle. Why Don Neukam Is Interested lr. a certain Junior girl. Why Harold Parsons Lakes his shoes off when he goes to ohe pencil sharpener. What Lois Seals likes about Shoals. Who Norbert Smith Is most Interested In? A Freshman girl or a girl from Momtgornery. Why Don Spaulding and Janet Gibson are always fighting. Some say true love never runs smooth. Why all the girls are so crazy aoout Gayle Taylor's red hair. What certain boy at Alfordsville Violet Tomey Is so Interested In. Is his name Bob Harper, Violet? What Girl causes Herman Tedrow's lovellght to burn. What boy Wanda Truelove Is so Interested In, His name wouldn't happen to be Roy would it Wanda. What Loogootee girl Is always calling Don Vickers up. If Dean Waggoner is really Interested In that eight grade girl. If Martha Westenbarger still goes with that Freshmen boy at Franklin College. If Doris Williams Is really serious.
