What if we were just sophomores, We made it, didn't we? That was really a great year! Most of us discovered the meaning of love and heartbreak. Joyce Gentry was F, F, A, Representative from our grade, and Danie Glover was F, H, A, Favorite, We musn't forget those mid-term tests - then time for finals, We passed the tests and now we were JUNIORS, Yes, that was the year - stands at football and basketball games, harder subjects, especially chem- istryl The Junior-Senior Prom brought marry problems, but every thing worked out just fine, Mid- term tests were given and soon exams were completed! We were SENIORS at last! Selecting and receiving class rings caused a wave of excitement, This seemed to be the year for honors with Peggy Campbell as Homecoming Queen, Emma Davis as Maid of Honor, La Rose Miles as F, F.A, Sweetheart, basketball captain, and Captain of the Cheerleaders, Shirley Dixon as Co-Captain of the Cheerleaders, Ray Sullivan as Basketball Captain, Danie Glover and Jimmie Bivens as Football Captains, Janet Golbek D, A, R, Representative and Betty Crocker Home- maker of Tomorrow, We worked on the school paper to make it the best paper ever published. We Struggled for a class trip with many money making projects. The time passed quickly and the days arrived for the Junior-Senior Prom, Baccalaureate, and Grad uation. There were many thrills, excitements, heartbreaks, and new romances - all of these help us to remember the best years of our lives. 9 lOl' S PEGGY CAMPBELL Class Reporter 55g Class Secretary 573 Jack- rabbir Staff 55.56. 57g Lone Oak Staff 57g Choir 55, 56g Pep Squad 55,56, President 56, Student Council 56, 57, Reporter 56, Vice President 57g FHA 55,565 Homecoming Queen 56.
