Even with this group of inexperienced runners, the team was able to split their season. In the League V meet, we had 112 points, which gave Longwood fourth place. We placed seventh in Section C. Jim Malone was one of forty-two picked from Suffolk to run in the state competition. With the experience gained by these young and willing runners, we hope to build an unbeatable team.
