In the 1964 season. Long-wood's varsity baseball team won eleven games and lost nine. The Junior Varsity had a record of fifteen and three. According to Coach LaPrairie, the outlook for this year's team is excellent. Two veteran pitchers will be returning, All-League Mike Trusnovec and Richard Lewin. The coach will also be able to depend on such veterans as: catcher Glenn Dydo, first base-man Stan Rhodus, second base-man Dennis Duchnowski, All-League shortstop Bob Morrell, third baseman Dave Redmond and outfielder Phil Reany. If the team shapes up according to the coach's plan, they certainly will be in contention for the league championship.
