JUPITER, THE PRESIDING DEITY OF LIGHT AND LIFE Alma Mater All hail. Alma Mater, dear Mother, to thee Thy daughters true, faithful, and loyal will be. Thy gentle instruction, thy nurturing care Will lead them to cherish things lovely and fair. Thy loving protection, thy influence so sweet. Will go with them always, a guide to their feet. All hail. Alma Mater, dear Mother, to thee Thy daughters, true, faithful, and loyal will be. Thy halls and arcades with their calm, classic air. Thy campus with blossoms perennially fair. Thy trees and thy fountain, thy vine-covered walls, Will live in their memory whatever befalls. Though far from thy care and protection they roam They still hold thee dear as a well beloved home. All hail. Alma Mater, dear Mother, to thee Thy daughters, true, faithful, and loyal will be. — Jennie Masters Tabb, Class of 1893 VIEWS The Rotunda with its majestic dome rises in simple grandeur amid surroundings of red brick, white pillars, and evergreens. The Colonnade with the Huntington equestrian statue of Joan of Arc is the connecting link between Student Building and White House Hall. A view of the Colonnade adjoining White House Hall. New Cunningham Hall, the home of the juniors and seniors, is the northwestern outpost of the campus. Student Building, with its .spacious lounge, gymnasium, reception rooms, and offices, houses the chief activities of student life. Through the classic beauty of its stately Doric columns, the Colonnade is seen from Student Building. Library Hall is dignified by its brick arches, its stately pillars, and climbing ivy. THE IMPRINT PRIDE Bids for patronage on a basis of price alone get small response from people who know the true worth of good quality in PRINTING. They prefer to pay the slight difference in the cost of good printing over mediocre printing be ' cause of the vastly superior Results obtained — and RESULTS, of course, are paramount.
