We have tried to make it show something of the work and pleasure of our school life, If in after years this book proves a happy reminder of the days spent here, it has served well its purpose. We aimed at nothing higher and hoped for nothing less. To all those who have helped us to make this hook what it is, we express our hearty thanks. We are deeply indepted to Mr. Joel D. Watkins for the drawings he gave us, and to Miss Cora ftuillen for the frontispiece. We realize that we could not have gotten along without Miss Lula Andrews. She, together with the other members of the committee from the faculty. Miss Winston, Dr. Messenger, and Miss Coulling, guided us wisely and advised us well.
