omeone once said the only things that don't change are Taxes, Death, and Changes . Meaning, nothing ever real- ly stays the same. Through the years Long- view High School has made quite a few drastic changes. The first high school was lo- cated at the now Foster Mid- dle School. The second high school was the Old LHS lo- cated downtown. Now we have the biggest and the best high school, which was built in -1976. The new high school is in the process of be- 'lH'll ll IH ing enlarged by new additions of a ninth grade Wing, a new gym, a new football practice field and even a new baseball field. Ever since 1932, football has been more than a traditiong it has become an institution, along with another traditional factor, the pep rally. Everyone seems to take part in pep ral- lies, making them a personal tradition Traditions, here, vary from all sports and activities to the cafeteria lunches, that are the same from year to year. pholo bg Jennifer Emmel
