All-Star Achievers The Longview Lobos finishing second in our region, dominated the district by placing five players on the All-District team. Averaging 60 points together per game, Seniors Donnie Colbert, David Wesley, and Devin Stevens were all named to first team of the All-District squad. Honorable Mention players from the team were Anthony Bradley, and Scottie McCollum. Two players were named to the All East Texas team they were Donnie Col- bert, and David Wesley. David Wesley had a record 10 steals in one game to set a new school record, this allowed him to be entered into the Bas- ketball Hall of Fame. The Lady Lobos finished an exciting season claiming the District Champion- ship and headed for the playoffs. Long- view dominated the District with five 'U it J Q ii 74 H0 X ORS stars chosen to the All-District team. They were: Wendi Widdle, Altha Palmer and Patricia Beckworth. Se- lected as Honarable Mention were Becky Seecs and Shonda Hyderr Chris Ferrell was the recipient of Dis- trict 13-5A's Most Valuable Player Award along with David Wesley, Chris was also named the Texas Gatorade Player of the year. Named to the All-East Texas Girls' team were Wendi Widdle, and Chris Ferrell.
