At the VICA District Competition Camisa Springs, Ctop leftl received a Hrst place ribbon in the Display Contest, while Cuong Truong, Cmiddlej received a second place ribbon. Two weeks later both of them ad- vanced to the state level competition. Angela Jones,fbottom leftj received the honor of being chosen the second place Top Vocational Student of the Year. O.E.A. The Office Education Asso- ciation entered a new field this year, that of financial specialist, and placed Shawn Sheridan Cbelowj in fourth place. CVAE. Corbatt Randell Knot pic- turedj, was named Outstanding Voca- tional Student of the Year by the Rotary Club of Longview. Joe Gill, Cbottoni rightl received several awards and rib- bons also. Not pictured: Bruce Webb was the Area winner in the DECA division. Scott Summers placed First in the VI- CA contest. Larry Garza placed Second in the VI- CA contest.
