veryone can remember riding a X' forty-eight passenger bus or walking to school when they were a lowerclassmen. With upperclassmen, cars are a favor- ite. We can find cars from 1940 to 1988. Many cars range from Cheverolets and Fords to BMW's. plmlo by swm cnzzms w pfwff, by M ffuhmfm I2 UPI:'.YI.YG ' 'J-f. '1' . In KM

Chaneine with the Times one of us can remem- ber the price of a T.V., a car or the simple coke twenty years ago. Amazing changes in econom- ics, politics, and social life have taken many changes before we were ever born. Many of the changes that have been made have had a great impact on our lives. Likewise in our lifetime we will be responsible for changes that will effect the children of the next genera- tion. About ten years ago a bond issue for a new high school was held. The old school was get- ting too crowded and some- thing had to be done. When the issue was brought before the ci- ty, they loved it! Immediately it was voted on and was over- m whelmingly passed. The 1984-85 football season brought on another big change. Sponsored by Fairview Nursery, LOBOS was printed on the hill with shrubery. This act clearly claimed it as Lobo stadium. In our generation, we still have immigration. The U.S. continues to be a melting pot for all nation- alities and cultures. LHS is no exception. Students attending school come from many foreign lands. Some make the ad- justment to a new culture with no problem. With all of the changes going about this year, it is sure to have an effect on our life later on. For the past couple of years, it seems things are changing too fast. We must keep up because things are Changing with the Times. I didn't like the new T school at first but not any more. There are many col- ors to choose from starting with pink end- ing with black covering all the strange colors in between. In so many words, the parking lot may be mis- taken for a used car lot. Several different cars are fixed up to the MAX while others are not very eye catch- ing - just plain ordi- nary. A few of the cars at LHS are highlighted here. The most luxurious is a 1987 BMW owned by Holly Heath, Qpictured belowj. Latonya Garri- son, is the proud owner f of a 1986 300 zxg sportest, fpictured at lefty, The oldest car on campus is owned by Mike Clark, which is a Chever- olet Bisquanelpictured at leftb. The oldest truck, a 1965 Cheverolet, is owned by Brian Cald- well, even though it is old it doesn't look it. Anoth- er proud owner, Carl Johnson, can be seen driving around town in his 1987 B200 XE-5. ipictured at lefty. Even though the styles, colors, and years may change, nothing will change about the feeling of having and owning your own car. 1 A H 1 Allphutuls un this page by Sonya Cullins
