rien A wide range of friends can be found here on campus. Friends share football games, cafeteria food, and sunlight at lunch. Friends make everyone's high school years more memorable, es- pecially when facing the many obstacles to be overcome. Our parents probably can recall those special times and special friends during their high school years. Some friends still live in Longview and see one another oc- casionally, like at Christmas and Thanks- giving. Old friends who live in other cities and states still keep in touch by writing letters, sending holiday greetings or just by paying a simple visit. Things haven't changed much. Week- ends and friends went together hand in handg they still do. Weekends didn't seem to come around often enough during the school year, but when they did everyone let loose and had a great time. Future Site The old baseball lield will soon become the new 9th grade complex and new gym. Making Room Workers remove the remains of the old but not forgotten baseball field.
