Over half of the scholarships were for academic achievement. Students in the top 2 percent of their class were recognized. Outstanding students in subject areas are: English, Ioe Little, Social Studies, Dwayne Propes, Science, jeff Starr, Business, Laura Baney, Fine Arts, Denise Atkinson: Foreign Language, Renee Zvolanekg Art, Chris Beasley, Iournalism, David Taylor, Band, Sharon Osborne, Industrial Arts, Chris Beasley: Choir, Chris Haney, Physical Education, Daphne Burton and Robert Rayg Vocational Co-op, Larry Pleasant, Vocational, Todd Evans: and Math, Ieff Starr. The Viewettes received raves from this year's Viewette Revue. The Viewettes stunned the audiences with their outstanding routines and smashing costumes. They burned up the stage with Sara McMinn's Neutron Dance and flowed through the curtains with Mrs. Ieannine Brandon's ballet to Terms of Endearmentf' With the help of the parents and school support, the 1984-85 Revue was the best show our school has seen in a long time. The breath-taking costumes were made under the direction of Mrs. Io Pompa.
