Seaman tOrricl Freeman is sailing down the Mississippi on his barge, the Mariiuana, bootlegging moonshine for Pakenham and Stuckey Distillers. His wife, the former Mary Eleanor Park, is at home with their two children. We see that Melvin Miller has been elected Mr. O-So Grape of 1968 sponsored by the Andrews O-So Grape Company, Howard Andrews, president. Clark Sample and his wife, the former Mary Louise Knott, are living on the Sample-Patterson Here- ford Ranch in Wyoming of which Billy Moore and lack Smith are the chief hired hands. lack Serpas, sole owner of the Smarty Partyland, is about to go bankrupt, because nobody goes to Smarty's parties but Smarty. Edwin Avery, operating the Reno Casino has just returned with his gang, the Avery Boys, from robbing the Callahan National Bank. We see Clara Hurst and Gloria Bryan singing with the Metropolitan Opera Opmpany of New York City with Bobby Iones conducting the orchestra. We see that Roy Anderson has decided to settle down on the island of Zulagoomba where he is a big game hunter. He was late as usual for the annual boat home and missed his only chance to leave. Bobby Smith has recently opened a deluxe photo service with the help of his wife, the former Margaret Alice Zeigler. Willie Uhlenhotf is now playing basketball with the Whiskered Wizards. Dr. Thad Iennett and his wife, the former Ann Gaude, are working as missionaries in China. Mitzi Harris has risen to great heights in the business world as the new owner ofthe Neiman-Marcus Store in Dallas. Her assistants are Gene McClain and Rodean King. All three obtained their experi- ence 'working at Lanier's Clothiers. Bobby Bill McGaw, Iustice of the Peace in Peatown, is having a flourishing business performing marriage ceremonies tor Carolyn Broussard and Kenneth Kennamer, Peggy Bowen and Bill Ed Caffee, and Iimmy Todd and Martha Whitehead. Harry Mayo is owner of a lumber camp in Ogden, Utah, of which Ioe McAnally is the head lumber- iack. Entertainment is furnished every Saturday night by Billy Visage and his band, the Vitality Boys, with their vocalist. Betty Edington. Frances Thurmon, editor of the New York Tribune, with her reporters Gwen Sanderlin, Pat Platt, Mary Fort, Louise Dean, and Shirley Ing, are exposing to the public the evils of the management of a large Wall Street firm run by Bobby Anglin. At dear old L.H.S. many changes have been made in the faculty. Robert tHamburgerl Harris is teaching math instead of Wilkie: Leah Wells Saye is directing the choir: Don Barton has taken Mr. Gray's place in life, and Algie Callahan is principal. lt has iust come over the radio from the iamous news commentator, lim Edwards, that Ed Roach has inherited the title of the King of Siam. Don Menasco and Ioe Francis have installed parking meters at Ware's Pasture and are enioying a flourishing business. especially from Zaga Lee, daughter of Billy Fred Hanson and the former Thada Summers, and Firewagon, Ir., son of Iimmy Eaves and the former Ann Smith. Rex Ann Ward and Ann Holloway are models for the Muston Mode of Modeling. Richard Ash, Robert Robe, Harry Allbright, Iohn Cheney, and Ioe Bell are the chief executives of Brookshire Brothers. Inc. Betty Canon has bought the Lacy Estate and has converted it into a home for stray dogs. t Bazzell is owner of a taxicab company, and the main customers are Betty Williams and Mary Southal . Among the pupils participating in the Spring recital given by the Perkins School of Dance tBeverly Perkins, teacherl are Cindy Lou, daughter of Iohn C. Murphy and the former Charlotte MacPherson, Liza lane, daughter of Bill Maxwell and the former Le Wan King: Donnie, Ir., son of Dlonlgarton and ' W e the former Murlene Gattis: and Forrest, Ir., son of Forrest Malone and the former an a an ss.
