Christmas time was no ordinary time for Longs Peak. Everyone was in the Christmas mood so projects galore were being done. First of all, everyone wanted to be Santa Claus, so when we asked the kids to bring canned food for the needy people of Longmont, eneryone brought the food and brought it and brought it. But when the Teen Fair came along the journalism class decided to sell goodies. The 9th grade Lang Arts classes donated the food and plenty of it. Since it was time everyone was in the singing mood, so the 7th grade, girls chorus, and mixed chorus had to show us their great talents. The students did the Boogie, l-lustle, Bump, and even the Funky Chicken to the music of the Pearls. The room was deco- rated by the Student Council with red and green streamers. It was a fun night even though some kids went home later to soak their feet!!
