Mixed Clmrus Praetieed and Succeeded Mixed chorus members learned to put dance movements to me song Purlie . The three chorus classes were designed to give students practice and instruction with vocal music. Seventh grade and girls' choruses were for seventh and eighth grade girls. IThey learned many songs, rehearsed and performed four concerts, and put on a musical called On the Range. Mixed Chorus was for eighth and ninth grade boys and girls. Spanish and French Club Went Places FRENCH CLUB - Front Row, seated: Alison Schwartz, Karen Resler, Melody Mills, Lori Robinson. Fiow 2 Renee Beck, Laura West, Joyce Powers, Vincent Alford Flow 3: Ms. Mitchell, sponsor, Candy Patterson Michelle Williams, Julie Hanson, Lori Platt. Some of the foreign language students wanted to do more than their regular classroom activities so a Spanish Club.and a French Club were formed. Mr. Martinez sponsored the 17 members in Spanish Club. They went to a Foreign Language Festival, Casa Bonita ia Mexican restaurantl and had a cook-out for their families. They raised money by raffling a 10- speed bike, holding a bake-sale, and selling candy bars. French Club had 11 members plus Ms. Mitchell, the sponsor. To raise money they sold candied apples and Christmas gifts. THey went to two French restaurants, the Denver Art Museum, and participated inthe school's Spring Fling.
