See Jane. See Jane Hun. Grammar, spelling, compostion, and literature all add up to a language arts course. Death Be Not Proud and Helen Keller were two of the video tapes that 7th grade students got to see. The 7th graders also presented the play, Ghost in the House. Eighth graders read the historical novel, Johnny Tremain, for the bicentennial year. Also a new system called tracking was used to determine the level of grammar for each student. The 9th grade students who really had an interest in language arts could take Communication Arts instead of Language Arts 9. This class had special units that were not otherwise offered: speech, semantics, and creative writing. All of the 9th grade classes went into the study of careers. For this unit they went to the Career Fair in Denver, March 8th, and had On-the-Job Day, Feb. 24. Nicky Romano 173 collects prepositions after a special unit in lang. arts is over. Speaking to 9th grade students on courses available at CDC is Becky Hatton. 14lLANG ARTS Here Tammie Wojtkewicz 185 demonstrates the proper way to blowabubble
