Science Fiction Club is a place where you can talk to people with the same interests without someone thinking you ' re crazy. Most of the kids aren ' t really serious about science fiction as I am. I hope to become an author of sci- ence fiction books so this club is very helpful. We discuss authors, books and we write. Now we ' re mak- ing plans to go to the Sci- en ce Fiction Convention in March. ' ' — S. Williams. A lot from science fiction comes true, like spaceships and atomic bombs. I think we might find more an- swers to things about our world by studying this. ' — E. Whelan. The first time I taught for Future Teachers they were active, running, play- ing, but at the same time learning. It was a real ex- perience. I like student teaching very much. Mr. Greenwood and Mr. Ladd started the Chess Club, got us together and now we ' re better than they are. — George Tougias We have one match a week which alter- nate home and away. — John Benoit I don ' t take it too seriously, but it ' s fun to go to on Tuesday afternoon.
