Boosters Sponsor Football Banquet The Bearcat Boosters, in cooperation with the Y-Teens Club, sold popcorn and candy at the basketball and foot- ball games. Last year, the Y-Teens and Boosters went together and purchased the popcorn machine, The cost is being divided equally between them, as well as the profits. Qs an addition to the regular uni- forms, the Bearcat Boosters purchased emblems and new collars for their out- fits. This year's officers consisted of Martia Stutheit, president, Sharon Danker, vice-president, Patty Foster, secretary, and ludy Qlbin, treasurer. On the Booster Cabinet this year were Liz Robinson, Carol Steuart, lean Nelson, Kathy Miller, Donna Reeder, Carmen Clement, Barbara Huber, Brenda Nellson, Karen Smallcomb and Brenda Gibbons. Leading the cheers for Kearney High this year were lean Nelson. Marlene Brown. Donna Reeder. Sharon Bearcat Booster cabinet members meet to conduct the organization's business. Martia Stutheit. presi- dent, leads the discussion. lean Nelson, Donna Reeder, Sharon Hackett, Ieanie Freburg, Marlene Brown and Loy Leonard were the cheerleaders who spent a lot of time preparing for pep rallies and leading cheers. lean Nelson was head cheer- leader and Ieanie Freburg was assist- ant head cheerleader. Leading cheers and keeping spirits up at the reserve games were alternate cheerleaders Connie Cole and Neoma Iensen. Having a good time while putting the finishing touches on this year's Football Banquet are a group ol senior girls. This year's theme, Moments to Bemem Hackett. Loy Leonard and Iecmie Freburg. ber. was enthusiastically received by both the foot ball team and the Booster Club.
