'27 were invited. Because of cr rather crowded sched- ule at the start oi the yecrr, the K-Club was organized cr little later than usual. Golfers, Norman Worley and Bob Sidner look on as Iim Maser tries a few practice strokes in preparation for the spring tournament. Pooling their pennies lor a card game on one of their many bus trips are the following K-Club members: Don Envick, Ken Tatum, Herb Iohnson, lack Crowley, lim Deist, Dave Kirwan and Bob Griesse. Combining fun with work are some industrious members ol the K-Club as they slide downtown to sell ads. Loyal Boosters Support Bearcats Providing loyal support tor the football and basketball teams this year were the Bearcat Boosters. Their spirit helped the football team reach their goal ot a very successful season and carried on throughout the basketball season. Both teams did their very best and their spirit didn't go un- noticed. They Were supported every step ot the Way by the Bearcat Boosters and other loyal tans. The football season was closed with the traditional Football Banquet given Page 26 by the Bearcat Boosters, at which Donna Reeder was crowned Football Queen. Don Peters, president ot the K-Club, presented her with a crown ot gold mums trimmed with blue. Mr. Charlie Foster, head coach at Ne- braska State Teacher's College, was the main speaker Who helped carry out the theme ot Moments To Remem- ber by telling some ot the sporting incidents in his lite which he remem- bered, and some of Kearney I-ligh's seasonal highlights.
