DORIS BARR: Coming to Kearney from Madison this year. lioris was soon active. She joined llear- cat Boosters and Y-teens and was a member of glee and girls' octet. DARLENE BELL: Darlene was a member of llearcat lloosters, Y-teens and GAA. She sang in girls' octet and glee and played in orchestra. WAYNE BENNETT: FFA was VVayne's busiest activity. As a sportsman. he went out for boxing and track. Wayne was also in chorus and glee. ARLEN BERGLAND: Arlen was a favorite crooner ot' NHS, lle sang in the Phonebooth Four. glee, chorus. mixed octet and attended the State Music Clinic. llis 'I' K1 I work took him to Lantz's. IDORA BICKEL: As business manager of the Log. ldora displayed her journalistic talents. She was a member of llrama Club and was active in GAA and liearcat Boosters. Chorus, glee and girls' octet were her music interests. She was on the Echo and a member of Quill and Scroll. CAROL BINDERUPZ Carol was a busy girl be- ing treasurer of both Y-teens and Bearcat Boosters. She displayed her sportsmanship in GAA and her music abilities in chorus and glee.
