Our German and Lafin classes combined and sang Chrisfmas carols in fhe halls during The Chrisfmas holiday season. Some of our fellow sfu- denfs couldn r quife undersfand fhe words, buf fhe funes were all familiar fo everyone. The German class also had a big Chrisfmas parfy af fhe home of Fraulein Kirsch. We afe hearfily all fhe German food which she prepared for us. Thai was an occasion we won'f forgef. We spenf mosf of our 'rime in advanced al- gebra finding fhe solufions fo all fhe differenf fypes of equafions and problems. Our girls physical educafion classes furnished enferfainmenf for The halves of fhe firsf four bas- lcefball games. We did such Things as playing bas- lcefball, volleyball and square dancing. Many fimes our halls loolced like fhose of a hospifal, wifh some of fhe girls limping fo and from classes.
