We go to school not work Semor class president 15 years ago Semor class 8 years ago Who would thunk Rex would be a football player' Masts n the H1gh Seas The members of the present graduatmg class began thelr school career about twelve years ago m the old Whlttter bunldmg, now the Manual Arts butldlng. The majorxty of these students have spent their entxre twelve years together 1n Whlttrer, Junior Hlgh and at last Kearney I-hgh School They have shared their Joyful moments, along wxth some sad ones Many members of the class were partlcxpants tn VHYIOUS grade school projects Probably the thmgs affordxng the most thrtlls to the pupils, at least at the time, were the Jumor I'Ilgl'l operettas Then came the Jumor class play, whxch added another entry lh the Log of the good shlp K H S The Jumots got a taste of the thrllls of bemg a Semor at the Iunxor Semor banquet Now the students m leavmg the shelter of thelr steamer, leave behlnd them the memorxes of the Senior play, ln wh1ch eleven represented the class, the Juntor Semor banquet, the Semor breakfast, the Senior plcmc, and of course, those two occaslons whxch are the final touches of the Semor year, Baccalaureate and Commencement In the years to come may the Semors loolc back on these years of school hfe and comradeshlp and fmd them full of pleasant memories and may everyone, on reflecting, feel that he has received the tumost out of the twelve years together E ' ' - n n l N Page 30
