W. C. A. rooms at 6:00 o'clock Monday, December I4. The rooms were decorated in the school colors, gold and blue. Colonial corsages made of violets and dwarf chrysanthemums, further carrying out the color scheme of blue and gold, were given as favors to the girls. Miniature walnut footballs made by the manual training department were given to the boys. During the banquet, music was furn- ished by the high school orchestra under the leadership of Mr. W. MacFaddin. The committees who arranged the banquet were: program, favors and de- coration committee, Marylouise Web- bert, chairman: C-ould Norton, John Hendryx, and Lucile Barlow: the com- missary committee consisted of Ruth Sitorius, chairman, Thelma Erwin, and Charlotte Shovlain. Lucile Barlow had charge of the sale of tickets. The program was: I pray you jest, sir, as you sit at dinner. - Shakespeare, Toastmaster Robert Clark. C. Eberhart, Miss Marian Madigan, Mr. Maurice Mann, Miss Alta Kibler, and Mr. and Mrs. O. A. Wirsig. 5everal of the business men co-oper- ated with the Athletic Association to the extent of giving special reductions on prices. Among these were: Hendryx and Miller meat markets, Carson's Grocery Store, and Fairmont Creamery. The Ravenna Creamery donated a quantity of butter, cream and milk.

The banquet and initiation were held in the Chamber of Commerce rooms on Thursday eve- ning, February 25, 1926. hour of banqueting, the During the banquet, the old members furnished the program. A cornet solo, Le Secret, was given by lVlorine Ny- quist, a vocal solo, Five Foot Two, was sung by Opal Hemmett who re- sponded with Sleepy Time Gal, as an encore. Catherine Boyle played Dance of the Demons, on the piano and gave several popular songs for encores. Hazel Panelc and Beryl Pearson sang, Rose of Sharon. The menu for the banquet was bread- ed veal chops, scalloped potatoes, head 1, .,f. Kygwizf .VI Club Banquet. lettuce with thousand island dressing, pickles, coffee, rolls and custard pie. The initiation was formal. The three points of the club, lVlusic, Friendship and Harmony, were impressed upon the candidates by Charles Reilly, Miss Helen Cherny, and Hazel Panek. Mr. W. lVlacFaddin gave a short talk on the im- portance and responsibilities of the club. After the initiation, a short business meeting was held at which the president, Charles Reilly, appointed two commit- tees, entertainment and program. Rodney Webster, Cynthia Easterling, and Elean- or Bessie were appointed on the entertain- ment, and Hazel Panek, Katherine Skinner and Gould Norton on the pro- gram committee. A number of the alumni members were present for the initiation.
