A plea for the daily Econ is resounded by Bill McGuire and Gus Fernandez. uThe bus was laten is the usual excuse arriving with the panting Annunziato. Coming in close second is Nlarlene Bach, whose only regret is that the closet closes before she comes. Our class baby, Diane Sheppard, chats with Dolores Spero, Cathy Sczepanslci and the boyst College bound tthey hopel are Viclcy lxfiichaels, Isabelle Nlealcim, Pete McGowan, Gus Fernandez, Bernie Powers, Marlene Bach, Beverly Root, Rachel Weisman and Lucille Tortora. Halt maize it by January ll, we hope. in our right hand corner, extreme baclc, we see Don lVlcKeown, our handsome six footer from Bishop Loughlin. Starry-eyed Ann Labate still dreams of her Joe Colombo, who is some thousand miles away. Our straying nomad, Dino Zaieres, has just returned from a brief visit with 7-314. All this is observed by our new addition, Richard Christani, who sits wide-eyed with amazement. As a mother might regard her naughty children with an air of understanding forgiveness-'so lxflrs. Jaffe sits pondering over the hustle bustle of all this activity. And as she shakes her head helplessly. we have longed so many times to tell her how much we appreciate all that she has done lor us, her understanding and her patience. All this we will neyer lorgetl

BEHIND THE SCENES OF 8-308 By LINDA TONEATTI and TONY DI MANTOVA Behind the door marlced 308, there occurs a very perceptible increase in clutter and clamor as the liindly gentleman sitting at the deslc pleads lor a bit ol' silence. All the while Leonora De Mais. the loquacious lassie of our corner of per- petual commotion, converses with a very en- thused audience. There is a very imperceptible decrease in the din now as the gentleman raps gently on his deslc for silence. To one side ol' the room, a plan of activity is evidently being unfolded as the lxlessrs. Blaze, Dente, Cristani and Brinlc huddle together. Vvhat scheme are they formulating now? Probably how to escape without being noticed, or how they'll unburden their upon The Skipper all at once. El Capitan then proceeds cautiously up and down the aisles in an effort to investigate sources of muffled crunching and munching of seemingly inno- cent onloolcers. ln grim resignation, he glances down at Nat fBabyl Denlcberg feasting in oblivious delight on Rice Krispies and millc. Upon being reprimanded. he exclaims in indignation, that as a growing lad and potential, prospective senator he needs VHVI, VIGOR and VITALITY. Another young hopeful is capricious Katie Alcstin. Poor Katy has had daily practice in yelling, waving and almost standing on her head in a gallant effort to talce attendance and solve the problem of who's siting in the seat where the boy behind the girl in front ofthe boy beside him should be. All this while, Miss President, our very demure and assiduous Virginia Comiskey, gently urges all good souls to be at the picnic Sunday or else? Suddenly the glass on Mr. lVleyer's deslc crashes to the ground as Signor lcarusol Blaze, our very talented Veepf obliges with a few notes from upagliaccif' Calmly surveying the scene with a twinlcle in her eye is Hazel Tricarico, a very poised and sophisticated young lady, who wears her clothes well. Another where and why. We are very fortunate, too, in being able to boast of our star athlete and very charming fellow, Johnny Dalcis, as well as pert, vivacious Jo Page, the girl with the voice. Despite the chaotic picture we've depicted, homeroom 8-308 consists of a grand group of lcids and many potential geniuses.
