STUPENDOUS-COLOSSAL-81 14 By MOLLY KATRAS and BARBARA MEYERS italy lJoasls ol Rossellini, Hollywood ol Gralmle, l New Yorli of the Circ-:at Xvhite Xvay-and Long X island City High? Vvhy of that colossal. stupen- dous, terrrriliic 8-114i Need prool-?l Vvell letls taice Lucille De Camillo. Lu was voted the most athletic girl in senior class, as witness her playing a hot game of hasicetlaall. And the hoys, not to he outdone, popped up with Dave Sheppard who shares honors with Lucille, as most athletic hoy. This young L.l.Cite is lamous lor having lmrolien all weightlifting records of his weight class. Also a sports lover is Lillian Haridopoulos, who can do a swan dive or .iacic Knife as easily as rolling off a springboard. But amidst our great and mighty, 8-114 has its slightly radical beings. One can be found hellowing, George all the way, the other chattering incessantly about the latest vogue designs. These two zanies are none other than Frieda Margarites and lxflarilyn Cooper. And moving slowly two seats up we stumlyle upon Harriet fTunal-ish, Katritos with her usual dialogue of Hlxlunch, Nlunch and George wore: munch, munch and George said . . As we shoot a glance aroncl the room, Pete Segallis and Charles Patti can he seen arguing about who gets the History first. Helping them to decide are the Big Three: Vincent Cavalcante, Robert Funic, and Johnny Cavallo. The opposite sex offers competition in the persons of Dolores Ferrara, ixlary Fiori, and Lorraine Goodman. But their topic of discussion comes under the heading of Boys and Dates. txvell, say whataya gonna do? Thank you, Jerry Lesterll And along with this Breeze of hilarity is the air of dignity as offered lay our intellectual side of the class: Rosemarie Caruso, Cleo Joannou, and George Xvitt. And il ever 8-114 resembled an average homeroom, all thanics are due to the quiet and ohedient group consisting of Lorraine Fischer, Kathe lntelmann, Elias Baldanzo, and .lean Sporn. Xvhile giving thanks, we do not want to forget the one who has guided us through the last lap of our four years. Class 8-114 would lilce Wir. Norman to icnow how much we appreciate and are grateful for everything he has done, no matter how small. Vve seniors may forget our history and math, hut one thing sure: Mr. Norman will always he rememhered and respected.
