Injuries Plague Girls’ Soccer Team The 1986 Girls’ Varsity Soccer Team much improved their record from last year. They had a 6 and 10 season, despite the many injuries of most of the starting team. The team worked hard and played well together. We are looking forward to an even better season next year because we have ten players returning,” said Coach Rutan. Coach Gomez added, “I feel the girls played very well considering that every time we had a game, one of the first team was out with an injury. Baseball Team Finishes Season With Good Hopes for Future The Long Branch High School Varsity Baseball team finished off the season with a 7-9-1 record.
