Featured was a marriage booth that gave couples a chance to try marriage. If the marriage did not succeed a divorce decree was ready and waiting. There was a “Wheel of Fortune” run by Coach Odom, and a Pie toss, both were very popular. The “Pick-a-Duck booth was popular with the younger kids. Special Day Designated To Honor Student Leaders Leadership Day is annually designated to reward the LBHS students who have served in leadership capacities. It was sponsored jointly by the National Honor Society and the Student Council on April 30. 1986 in the high school library. The 1986 Leadership Day was unique because a select group of students from Elizabeth High School were invited to observe the program and to tour our school afterward. Former graduate Anthony Carthan was the guest speaker. Certificates of appreciation were awarded to each student leader. Leadership Day 7

Sophomore Carnival Sets Financial Success Record! ▲ Mr. Don Covin A Mrs. Michaeline Odom A Mr. Butch Odom A Dwane Logan. Stanly Gola A Hilary Epstein. Lisette Feliciano Children Of All Ages Eat, Drink and Have Fun, Fun, Fun The Class of 1988’s Sophomore Carnival was a huge financial success, and, fun, too! On May 23, 1986. after many long hours of preparation, the Sophomores were rewarded with an overwhelming profit of over $1700.00. This is the largest amount of money made in the history of the Sophomore Carnival! The Carnival is the major fund-raiser for tenth grade students.
