SPECIAL EDUCATION W PIII! is I F Mr. Barrett The Special Education Department of Long Beach High School provides educational opportunities in coordination with each student's ability. The director of Special Education, Mr. George Barret, is also in charge of education forthe home-bound stu- dents. Because of his dedicated work, Mr. Barret deserves our thanks and our praise. PSYCHOLCGICAL SERVICES The Psychological Services in Long Beach High School serve a two fold purpose. The primary concern of this department is to aid students possessing emotional problems and to help them adiust academically and socially. A second service performed by the Psychological Services is the administration of examinations to discover students' potentials and strong points.
