At its best dra a , m can inspire, and enrich the mind. its kinship to human history is readily seen in its parallel with human achievement: flourishing during enlightened times, almost dying in black times- T ye never completely dead. Through drama, one form ot art, man is best able to express himself and to communicate with others.

Quill and Scroll QUILL AND SCROLL TIDE o Tide Editors Tide Staff Newspapers are the lifeblood of a nation, pro- viding it with the vital facts and events that shape our world. A The TIDE performs this iob on a smaller scale. It keeps the school informed of future events and re- ports past events. lt also gives the journalism class a workshop in which to experiment and learn the techniques of the newspaper field. Students who excel in the field of iournalism are admitted into Quill and Scroll, the International Honor Society for Journalism. Here their endeavors are applauded. More importantly, the TlDE provides the aspiring journalist of today with the tools to become the successful iournalist of tomorrow. I
